Verhoeven Group (VGL) is home to a suite of brands specialising in premium lifestyle and leisure products. Our portfolio includes Life Fitness, Kawasaki, Nautique Boats, The Fitness Depot, and Power Parts Depot and we’re still growing. We play in gyms – large and small, on bikes, and on the water. The Company:

‍The Opportunity:
Our marketing team is seeking an experienced Videographer who is ready to hit the ground running! Based in Hamilton, you will join our top-performing team that is passionate about promoting our products. 

As our Videographer you will plan, film and edit videos and photos for our suite of brands. There are also various events to attend and document. Some travel around NZ will be required along with some weekend work.

‍As part of our marketing team you will:
– Plan, manage and create innovative and engaging video stories to support our brands and marketing initiatives
– Work with internal teams and external clients when doing shoots on location
– Document events with video, photos and interviews

‍Are you the right fit?
Our brands, our people and our clients are key, so it is important that you and your skills are the right fit. The successful candidate will have a creative mind and an ability to tell a story through visuals. Knowing the right shots, the right angles and thinking outside the box is what we’re looking for. 

Skills:
– A relevant qualification in visual communication (or similar) or relevant experience 
– Experience with Adobe Suite, specifically with Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop
– Interpreting a brief to capture video and then edit it into a cohesive story that fulfils the task
– A portfolio or show reel of work to show your skills and experience
– Being flexible, adaptable and willing to take on a wide range of tasks
– Initiative and ability to identify opportunities
– Excellent time management to juggle multiple jobs
– Ideally you’ll have an interest in one of our brands.
